The Bird

the-bird-lgOur weapon of choice to battle around Australia on, is Honda’s distinguished but now discontinued CBR1100XX Super Black Bird.

It is now fitted with a set of genuine Honda panniers and Yoshi RS3 slip on mufflers and a Scottoiler, one of the best accessories ever for a bike.

In 1996 when ‘The Bird’ was first launched it was the most powerful (156HP) and fastest (294kph) production motorcycle in the world.

Our baby is a 2002 model which now has about 21,500km on it (I know, nearly worn out, ha ha).

So what better way to turn the tyres over and blow the cobwebs out than a Lap of the Map.
